Imperfect, So What...

Its an event that that i attended today,

i heard half of the description on the radio and doesn't really know what is it abt,

but it caught my attention,

i tried google for whats happening,

but i can't load the page of bukit jalil official web site,

only knowing the time and the venue of the event,

i still decided to randomly pop up at the venue and check out what is it abt...

it turn out to be a photo shoot of a huge crowd,

with the objective of raising the awareness in our society,

regarding not to look down imperfectness people or discriminating the disabled,

they given out coloured specs to us for the photo shooting,

to portray a Chinese saying of “wearing a tinted glass”, therefore be judging people with a filtered mind-set.

（有色眼镜，我不怕）

the crowd was not as large as expected, but people there were all very energetic and really fun to hang with,

also , there is really a lot ppl with super overly exaggerated styled hair (from my view ler) as one of the main sponsor is a hair stying academy i think....

8tv i wanna be a model reality show contestant,yu heng, manhand, 988 DJs....

then at that event, i met with a uncle who really thought me a lot and shared with me a lot of stories of his life....

he is no ordinary man,

he is a real man with a very strong mind set and would do whatever he can to achieve his goal,

he is a 60 year old plus old man, walking with a staff, slowly step by step alone, with the main theme of the event stick on his shirt "imperfect, so what"...

when i get to talk to him... then only i know, he is a patients who suffered from stroke,

half of his body is paralyzed, making him hard to move around,

yet this strong man, made all the way from bangi to bukit jalil stadium,

although being condemned by his own daughter and wife, telling not to be so silly to waste his time and money...

he believed in himself that he could make it and really made it all the way here,

and he told me all the other achievement that he actually accomplished although he is in that state,

he never gave up hope and always have faith in himself,

to always challenged the impossible,

when the death god came and ask him to go, he challenged him and stayed alive with his strong will....

he was not able to move his other half of body back then, but he challenged the doctor and the fact and made it through the situation...

he went through a lot, without the support from family, yet he turn the tide all around and became one of the main stay of his family....

also, thanks to this uncle,

i was being invited to be sitted at the frt row together with the celebrities together with him *lucky*

so guess that am going 2 be in the paper again...but this time am jz a small part of the big pic (damn ss ler....)

at the same time, get to see the performance at the frt seat... XD....

the dances... there is a part of the dance is actually in the dance we rehearsing now....

and i never realised we were doing such nice moves until i see it from a third party view...

lol....

by the end of the show....

i also get to snap pic with manhand... damn bangga ( was wearing white some more... like am one of them..XD)

and get 2 whole bags of freebies.... by juz standing there.... wakakka

was lucky as lin yee... on of the crew member there who were juz beside me kept giving out things to ppl at her side.... XD

flashing back to all the stories from Mr. Tan....

it is very inspiring and was very impressed by his view of life...

at the same time, i do feel a bit ashamed of myself...

with a fully healthy body... i still not able to much to accomplish my goal...

i always procrastinate and not giving all my best at the first time, and only cover it back later,

or think that i would hv a second chance...

but now... it really gave me a huge smack in the face,

and i should seriously to be more serious in everything i do...

come to think of it... whatever i achieved now, is not in my full effort...

making me master of none, but jack of al trades....

i really hv 2 get myself working harder and to be more serious....

no more slacking... or else i know one day i would regret as i will not be as lucky as always

( i know i said this like quite a few times edi... see u see what i mean?)

also at the same time am really thankful with all the things that i am blessed,

and i get to see how lucky am i to have such great family and friends arnd me...

i should b really grateful with all i hv.... i really am....

all and all today's is a very memorable day and i am really glad that i actually went there and it really an eye opening experience,

and i would definitely go for the event again if they are hving another one as i do really believe if we want to change the future, we hv to start small and work on it bit by bit....

Another Wierd Encounter of Alex's Driving History

Guess what?

3 years of driving experience,
i already encounter many kinds of trouble,
from flat tyres ( arnd 7 times i guess), Torn Water Hose, Leaking petrol hose, frt light being smashed, signal light came off, rear light being stolen... and the list goes on....

and yet here is another entry to my "great" driving history...
and guess which part of the car is involved this time?


it is the wiper... yup... and it was on the rainy day.... (my life is just full of surprises)
I was on the way to Kl to look for someone,
on the way there... not knowing the place... (looking for the signboards end asking arnd)
it started to rain... and as usual as any driver would do, turn on the wiper and continue drive ler...
however, while i was driving half way...
suddenly the wiper act weirdly... and withing 10 seconds when it start to act weirdly,
the wiper is then came off from the its place...

i was like "What The Heck!!!!"

with the driver still on the bonnet, i try to balance the car and kept it stable,

to prevent the wiper from fall off from the car...(can't stop as i was on an highway...T.T)

then, i get to stop be at a traffic light and it was red...(for the first time i am glad i am stopped by a traffic light....XD)

i quickly went down and grabbed the wiper, and guess what?

the light turn green by the time i got my hand on the wiper... (I was like omg... better get in quick)

then i had to continue drive without the wiper until i get to fins a place to stop,

( oh ya, i forgot to say its the driver side wiper that fell off....)

so i was struggling to drive at the same time... (luckily, the rain reside and was not that strong as before or else i am really in deep shit)

by the time i get to hv a stop and inspect what happened....

its actually part of the wiper arm broke and i can't fix it back ... ( just great...)

it gave in as the arm was to old and broke...

its actually a small part that broke but it is the main place that holds the whole thing causing the whole thing to come off just like that

after settling all the task at KL...

i quickly went back before the rain come back again....

on the way back... while i was looking at the rear view mirror...

by the time i look back.. the car in front suddenly slowed down alot...

i quickly jammed my brakes too but the tyre was quite worn + wet surface...

the car still travel quite some distance before stopping...

if i were few sec slower.. surely i would kissed the rear of the other car...

but i was wondering... why the sudden stop in the middle of the highway?

maybe an accident at the front i guess...

but when i look far ahead... i didn't see any car that are stopping at the road...

by the time i moved forward a bit more i found the reason of that slow down...

its a CHICKEN.... yes, u hear me right, its the a chicken there that was sitting down on the divider, and i guess the car in frt juz now tried to avoid it hence causing the sudden deceleration...

but how often u get to see a live chicken on the highway... of KL some more... XD

i think the chicken would be there as it fallen out from the truck that carried it...

me and my extraordinary driving experience,

lol... i wonder how weird it can be? (better not .... XD)

There is time that you will feel missing that someone so much,

that everyday, every second, he/ she will be flashing through ur head,

never ending to wonder whether he/she will be fine... 

u will be cracking ur head juz to make sure he/she is happy,

and would do everything to take away every single trouble that would cause him/her to frown,

and would die to juz to see her smile?

everyday, am going through this, 

image of her never leaves my head,

am now really deeply mad over her?

i think i can say so...

but for now, i think i only can be patient...

and let time proves that am not fooling...

time will tell...

First Times

Wah... so many first time that happened last week...

let me recall,

first time i can't move my arms when i woke up

was sleeping in a postion where my arm is use as a pillow,

and by the time i woke up,

i tried to move the arm...

and it was totally numb and "stingy"

unable to be moved at all....T.T...

had to wait around 5 - 10 min for the blood to go back into my arm,

am thinking... what happened if i slept longer... will my arm be a goner?

wakkakaka(dun think so...)

first time i made a cake

planned to make cake for mom during mother's day

but she was not there and all the ho-haa,

making it not possible for me to make it for her,

but juz last week, 

it jz ngam ngam both are free, 

so took out the recipie that i took down from newspaper,

and started to make it...

following things step by step, 

at 1st , when it asked me to put in butter and sugar,

then beat it, i was totally in doubt, about how 2 beat it,

as the butter was still damn solid as it juz came out from fridgs,

was stupid enough to even try to beat it at early stage.... 

(at the end left it there for a while for it to soften , while i preprare other materials)

then when it seems ok to be beaten (sound wrong huh?)

i beat 20 min when the instruction said 10 as i really hv no idea untill how it should be, (hahaha)

after everything got mixed,

its time to put into steaming....(yup, the cake was not baked)

all the anxious thinking it might not be good...

and as 50 min reached... i opened it,

was so happy it is fine and was really nice...

and when i send it to my mom for tasting...

 she actually says ok.... (not bad as she is likes to eat and she knows what is good an whats not)

then she actually asked me where did i bought it as she still dun really believe that i made it...

LOL...

not bad for a 1st timer i guess...XD

first time i was out do by my bro in physical challanges

b4 this there is a roadshow at pyramid,

and my bro asked me to go with them

and take up the physical challange...

rock climbing, some string climbing, 3 on 3 basketball....

and guess what, 

i actually got outdo by my bro's achivement,

hahahaa....(guess that am really now out of shape)

really need 2 work out and get myself in shape...

hahaha.....

Crazy Day .... Tons of Fun.... (really long...lazy ppl, juz browse through the pic can edi....XD) [16/5/09]

Saturday that juz passed was juz packed with activities and was non stop of it,

it was a great day and was being optimised to the max...

was hving fun n activity non stop from morning till morning (4 am to b exact... crazy huh?)

8:30 in the morning was edi up of bed and was rushing to sharon's place as sharon was hving class at 9 at vista, and rinaldo and me were late...

was like rushing like mad, brakes was really used till by the time i reached sharon's place,

there was smokes coming out form the wheels...(not engine going 2 explode, just the brake pads was over heaeted....XD....)

then, as the dance class was over,

i get to give fang jie a belated brithday present...

it flet really great to see the sweet smile on her face...she was really cute...

then, as usual, played with aisyah... and she is getting more and more active everytime i see her....XD... running here n there...

then, after the class, we went off to balakong to pic up the sofa,

and after settled down and moving it to the location, 

we rushed off to sunway pyd for lunch... (yup rushed... tight schedule right???)

had kenny rogers and was it was really nice...

then juz after lunch, we head to vista again to prepare for the dance performance,

was like not even warmed up and not yet recall abt the dance steps,

then sharon had her run...

was like stunned and for the 1st run, i did quite a number of mistakes...(was like thinking oh ow....trouble...)

then juz as the 1st run is done, i went back to sharon's place to pick up mr rahula and some pants...

i was like... i still need more practice...but then... head on and did all the tasks handed...

by the time reached back at vista, when i juz stepped into the dance studio,

it was my part to dance...  and am juz like juz hopped in and carried Ily and continued on....

however, i still did mistakes... haihz...

2nd run done... sharon shouted everyone change and  go down... am like stunned....

then, with the  thought of die die also do ler...

but turn out to be when the dance started... it was not bad ler...

as body was bit warmed up edi... and less error was being done...

had a great night though...

then off we go and have the dinner there...

lin jing was super woman that night... and was pracitcally in almost all of the performance that night... (another superwoman is born)

it was ok ok ler the food, 

but the green bean soup there was really special and nice...

it is green bean soup with durian... (yup... durian...)

it is quite thick so u will not really want to have much of it but it is a new kind of taste experince....

Kammesh was telling me he had to drove his worn out tyred kancil to vista and was nearly caught in an accident twice...(am really sorry kaatesh for not confirming the transport with ya... sry...will not happen again...) 

yet still he is back with us doing crazy things  while rehearsing ....XD (check out below)

was like juz dropping by for 40 minutes and i rushed off to sharon's place with rinaldo and linjing for the ballroom dance club that we were planning to go....

(was crazilly fully utilising my time i guess....XP... )

then when we reaeched there...

was really impressed with the dance floor there...

it is really wide and nice... much better than the prev salsa club that we went b4...

many dance was being exposed to us and we learnt a lot...

i learnt Waltz and line dance...

it was really nice...

and was damn impressed with rinaldo ( superb dancer... and fast learner too)

he like can master the dance by juz looking at the couple on the dance floor dancing...

and he did it really nicely... very geng...

it was a long night and all of us enjoyed it

forgetting the pain she has under her feet...

we dance till 2 am in the morning... yup... till the club closed...

until the dance club is juz left with our group... (feels like we booked the whole place)

with all the exhausted muscle and body... i collapsed to sleep in no time...

yet it is a memorable night and really its really enjoying...

Long time no sports + arcade edi....(15/05/09)

So long didn't play basketball edi,

finally, got a call from ervin inviting to play bball...

directly took the invite and flew my way there...XD

but guess what...

i am now really sucky at it ler....T.T

all my shooting and layup...

nothing goes in...die...(really getting old edi...)

then still can't really get use to the new court...(blaming the court now???)

hahaha...

as the court is being fenced, it is hard to save the ball when the ball is out edi...

can't like jump out to reah it and pass it back in...

i tried to do that at one of our 3 on 3 game...

and guess what... 

i banged to the fence...and unable to save the ball...XD...(clumsy as always)

but it can be nicer ler...

if the court is to be left opened free for ppl to walk in and play,

then can play with more variety of players...

its sort of suck as the court is meant for so many purpose....

for such a huge uni, i would like to have one each instead of all in one... 

but the uni is still in the process of building... so dunno ler...

by the time they finished i should b out of there long time edi....

then, went for spartan practice for the 2nd time...

(had not enough toture on thurs i guess....XD)

but its sort of scary....

seeing almost all the girls there are able to reach the ground when doing splits...

esp adeline aka the tare panda... can really split like nobody's business...

she was like fully flat on the floor with her leg splited 180....O_o!!!

then wen pei was doing really good as she edi can reach the floor edi...(superb progress...all the hardwork paid off...=D )

After the spartan, 

we went for dinner at AC...

as we all had enjoying the food that we ordered...

i was struggling to finsih the food that i ordered as it was really bad...

and i will not order form that stall ever again...

i dunno how 2 say which one... but will tell u if u r with meat AC...

even a dumpster like me says that its bad... so u can guess how bad it is...XD

then after the meal, 

we went for arcade...

wahahah...

it was really funny there...

esp looking at grace playing the hit the popping bull dog...

she was really into it...

and was releasing her full force to whack all of the pooping bull dogs....

can tell she was realy stressed from the assignement...

then comes in the crazy dance game dancers, Ivan and Rinaldo...

both are crazily master in dance dance revolution and parapara....

was stunned looking at them playing... all the continuous arrows that comes in both slow and fast paced...

and they played it like nothing....

crazy fellas....

it is jaw dropping when u see these 2 fellas play...siao...

and guess what when i was there playing halfway,...

i got a phone call from home asking where am i,

and its my 2nd bro bday...

i was like what the heck? 

that day was 15th of may...?

then... directly rushed home and reached juz in time for the cake...

and had few photo shoot...

was listening al his whining abt the creams of the cake (as he juz dun like creams)

i totally forgotten abt it.... ( seriously, am a lousy bro....)

am really sorry... belanja u makan big time kk?

and it was really fun ler all and all on that friday...

Daniel's Visit ( 8/5/09 ~ 12/5/09)

Wahahaha, its indeed a long time since my last update,
too many stuffs to talk abt,
hv no idea where to start,
hence procrastinated,
which also translate more stuffs that happened and it all piled up.

finally, am fed up of myself being like this,
i gave up on the interesting and crazy april that i had...
instead, i shall start from what happened recently...
hahaha....

lets start off from daniel's visit before his flight back to sibu,
he was arnd for 4 days plus...
and within this 4 days,
we went to meet up with many of the course mates that i have not contacted for a long time,
(really long... some didn't meet up since course ended)
really missed them all ler...

let me try to recall the outing we went

~ sushi king + Murni SS2 = christine and zhu yuan (great time.... and had a nice chat with u all)

~ Lai Kwong = Ai Wen + Lay Phing + Lay Phing's Batu Pahat House/Coursemate

 ( Its also been sometime since i been there)

~ AC + Snowflake = hsin ling, sze ling, ee lin, yong sheng

~ mian dui mian = liong ee (walau.... really had not seen her at all i guess since ausmat ended)

~ meru Bak Kut Teh = Yong sheng

from all the gathering,
am sort of feeling ashamed...
as for someone who is arnd here,
i never made the initiative to call them up...(seriously bad friend here)
until daniel's arrival then only get to see them.
there is some that are in monash and i hardly seen them arnd...
overall, most of them remain unchanged,

mainly all the female are now more feminine,

while guys i dun think we changed much...
juz hsin ling who kept long hair already...(was not able to recognise her at 1st when we met each other....Xp)
but her cold joke is still remain the same...
then speaking of which... really long time didn't go out sing K edi,
last time sing k also dunno when edi....
(eh, better make one K session during this sem break ler =D)
now, memories of Ausmat is like flashing here n there...
those were the days, fooling arnd, sing K, pool, snooker...
all sorts of random things....


after a dinner outing at AC,
we went to the dessert house opposite Asia Cafe -- Snowflake
It is really nice... esp the Taro balls (yam balls)....
then there is sth special abt the way they take ur order and serves to u,
what is it, its 4 u 2 find out urself, (i dun wanna spoilt it)
but if u want to know, or u wanna go n check it out (get me too...XD),
i still hv so many more other desserts at there to try out...
i forgot to took picture of the desert,
but be assure that the portion there is quite big and the price is reasonable, taste are good... so what are u waiting 4?

hence we decided to say hi after we paid for the meal...
and lucky enough, YS was really bz and he was able to miss out 2 of us until we finished everything... ( lol... playing hide n seek)
for those who hv no idea where is this bak kut teh place,
dun worry, will bring u guys there to try it out...


we also checked out X- Men...
it was not bad.... but not as great as expected...(however was quite satisfied as i have not been watching movie for quite some time edi... and it is really long ago...=P)
Am now eyeing on Angels and Demons / Terminator 4...

oh ya, we went arnd pyd that day to check out whats nice...
and i hv no idea what happened to me that day,
my hearing was really in trouble...(cracked some stupid joke at the end)
one goes like this,
went to espirit, was looking on these 2 bags with no price tag,
so we asked the staff there for the price,
at first i was shocked when i heard the price,
two for nine ninty....
i was like what the heck... espirit, selling 2 bags 4 RM9.90???
then think abt it again,
then only realised i was juz plain stupid interpreting it wrongly,
the guy was telling us one bag is for RM 249, and the other RM 90.
so its RM 249, RM 90, not 2 for RM 9.90 (how foolish can i be?? :S...lol)

all and all i was glad that daniel dropped by,
caught up with u all,

hope u get to go to France as u wished to...
eh... do work out at sibu there...
or else u will be one size bigger by the time ur sem starts...XD...jking...

wierd encounter

while buying something at giant today,
when i was looking 4 Daia, the cleaning detergent,
suddenly there i this malay girl who pops up from no where,
and asked me whether there is 1 kg pack of Daia,
and what was in front of me is the 3 kg packs.
i told her i dunno, and look arnd, didn't see it, and tell her might be sold out,
then she juz walked away,
and i was juz grabbing the 3 kg pack one,
she suddenly pop up from my back with a 1 kg pack of Daia,
and says that u really lazy, dun even look arnd seriously...
i was like "what the heck"? do i look like a worker there?
the shirt i was wearing was juz plain dark blue,
nothing green nor yellow...
wierd....

then on my way going to the cashier,
the one of the basket handle i was holding broken into half ,
yup, not slipped of from its place but broke into 2,
heck.... what is the chances of go through that in ur life,
all i was hving in the packet was 2 packet of Daia and 2 bottle of dish detergent,
lol...

i was pondering on this today when i juz suddenly stumble upon prioritizing,
i think i am the kind that prioritise other rather than myself,
and sometimes i wonder should i sometime be a bit selfish and prioritise on myself?
as there is saying of u should take care of urself then only u can take care of others,
but on the other hand i feel good after helping others,
so am taking care of myself by taking care of others, right?

i dunno...i do know am a very contradicting fella....
dunno... juz a random thought...food for thought...

Stupid

I just felt so stupid...
missing one of the best chance of my life...
am juz plain dumb...
heck... how i wish i can go back in time...

why all me?

there is one point in life where u always get the blame and things just don't go smoothly... and guess what... mine is extra long....
it always been a tough life that i have to go through as i am always stuck with things are not that nice... heck

am now kinda emo now as due to a small thing i am being scold by my mom,
the distrust that u get from someone u love,
it really hurts...
i sometime wonder y did i hv to bear on with all this,
doing all the chores that i actually need not,
doing all the things for her and there is not even a thank you,
and now a mistake where she can actually fix it by herself,
she left it there and relying me in doing everything,
i just don't understand...
and all the effort i done for them... its nothing..
saying that am not helping the home at all...
i gave so much and yet she took it for granted,
but what can i do?
they were raised up like that...
so i may juz as well hv to take this as a training for myself,
to be a better man...(i guess)

sometimes i feel much more appreciated at my "2nd home"
sharon's place... where i helped her moved house for 4 consecutive sunday...
yup, 4 weekend.... from morning to night...
all the sweat and effort i done there are well appriciated...
heck... the irony...

but i know....
my heart is always with my family,
but sometime i really felt tired to be here...
really... tired...

the uneasy feeling is still there,
but no worries, it would be gone after a good meal and sleep.... (typical short term memory simple minded creature)
now the only escape i am now enjoying is the dance class,
i sometimes just hope that the class dun ends so that i can be just at there...
at least i can give myself a break from all these..
but lets face it... we hv to face troubles here and then,
it will be pointless if we try to escape from it,
it may juz get worst if we didn't face it in time...
haha.....

much relieved now...
oh ya, regarding the prev post, info abt new bro was an error,
i came to a realise he is a she...XD
and she was staying for a week nia...
so now there is no more baby to play with.... (haihz....)
