but hv 2... tis precious trip from LIMA n penang must be blogged as there was a lot of things that happen ler... (WARNING: This will be very freaking long entry…)
where should i start? there was 1 AUNTY , i repeat , aunty at the bus is being very in for her standard as can u imagine a 30++ mayb 40 aunty to be a blond wearing mini skirt n glittering belt ler....
another impressive thing about this particular lady is the group she is in as they can chat for 6 hours none stop during the whole bus trip from KL to penang...non stop... very impressive as they are like are hving unlimited topics to talk 2.
Then when we were going to reach there we stucked in the massive traffic jam on the famous penang bridge....( lets look on the bright side... we spent more time on the bridge...=_=...)
also, while we were on the bridge the bridge is actually being "renovated" ( i dunno the word)... as the bridge are being expanded by one extra lane... but were feeling really worried for the ppl floating ion the sea on a small raft under the huge downpour... they are the worker in charge of the project and u can imagine how torturing it can be in that situation...
then when we reach my friends home, then only we knew that day was his sis birthday where we went out 2 hv dinner 2 celebrate for her... but 1 thing 4 sure is that his sis face hardly reflect her age... she juz finished SPM but she had the face of a form 2,3 face...its quite hard 2 believe at first....( the exact opposite of my case as i had ppl saying me am i the father of my bro by my bro friends, another worst case is that i was asked by a tauke soh of a mini market when i brought my 3 youngest bro 2 buy things..."wah, u so young got 3 children edi ar?" -.-"... no comment)
n the ppl at penang like to bring the whole family out for supper 1... as we saw many family coming the mamak at night bringing the whole family... then tried the 2meter high roti tissue there...
next day went to the famous, snake temple which dun seems to have little n few snakes only... the day i went there is like no more than 10....for a snake temple... ahuh...real sien n dissapointed... but the next stop were different.. we went to the "kek lok si"极乐寺 and had the nice few there.... went climbing the tower till the highest floor that we can go n had a time enjoying ther breezes there coming to the face...really very windy there... real nice.... can see a great view...how i wish it i am there at night...breeze there + night view...wow...
but on my way to the kek lok si... there were many stalls that sells small stuff n decoration ...
a lighter with laser pointer in a shape of a handgun caught my eye and i ask the price...
he answered me that RM35... i straight away say no thanks...n walk away... the further i go guess what... the more the price fall...ei "25 can ar, 20 20, 1515ok lar 7,7...."
i ignored as i hv 2 catch up with the friends in front but was like shocked as the price put on were such high and the price dropped without me bargaining... siao... they really slaughther ppl there...then on the way back down i asked 7 ok... then he say 10... i really 1 2 get it then i take it ler... after getting it we went down n at the next stall at the lower place saw the same gun i ask the price... she say 25.... then i shake head n walk away...as i go...the same thing happened and she said 5 at the end.... i felt so so geram....urgh....
but the laksa there that we take is very very nice ler....a bowl of very satisfying laksa... although that was my first laksa i tried....hehehe...then the curry puff there is real different...then skin is the super crunchy 1 n dun look loke any of the currypuff we see here... on top of it is eat together with a spoon of diced onion on top of it...the taste real diff....the stay at penang mainly is juz food... eating till very very full...phew... should b gaining a few pounds edi....
then next day is the exciting 1 as we taken the boat to langkawi and it was torturing...as it is getting really wavy at the deep sea and we were in the head of the boat where it is very dizzying when we reached the deep sea... as the boat rocks quite heavily and the air ventilation there is not that good...so tips for everyone take the higher seats if u hv a double storey one n dun take boat head seat very dizzying 1.... my friend nearly vommited ler.... but there was one thing good bout the boat is that they hv a small deck that u can stand outside... n its a very nice seat if it wasn;t the sea water splashing up on us...very comfy wind refreshing if u r having a bad time feeling dizzy... it helps a lot... stayed at the deck although the big splashes n actually napped there getting mysely thoroughly wet when i woke up... then go dry myself inside n find a lot of salt on my face.... hahaha... preserving my skin...
as we reached langkawi... checked in n everything... we went roaming on the car we rent...we reached a beach named tanjung aru... very deep inside, but it is worth it as there was really nice fine white sand and crystal clear sea water... (sth i hardly expect from m'sia sea as the only sea i saw previously are the Pulau Ketam sea..the green 1....) anyway, it is very beautiful scenery there....then there was a resort there n many caucasians are sun bathing there.... yet we didn't get to play at such fine beach... as we were planning 2 find the airport 2 watch LIMA n therefore didn't bring clothes or sth.... ARGH...... no playing at the beach... so regreted not to....but we actually went into the resort as it is linked to the beach but got chased out by the guard saying the facilities are for house guest only...so cocky... but indeed he should as i asked him how much is it for a night at the resort...he answered RM1300 per night for the CHEAPEST room....walau, no wonder he chase us out... we were wearing cheap clothings.... hahahaha.....

then went to the bukit Machinchang and wanted to take a ride on the cable car there to have the view of the whole island and it was really walau... u can see how steep is the cables and imagined that if the cable snaps...(oh no... really scary....) but we were not able to take a ride on it as the wind speed was exceeding the safety limit hence the cable car operation were cut off... so next time u 1 2 go there make a phone call n check whether it is running or not or else it will b juz a waste of time driving all the way there.... so change of plans... instead we went to the nearest tourist spot there... some waterfall and its quite nice....however the road there is not easy as it is freaking steep the road there and it really makes u work out alot...yet the same happened thing again... juz able to take pictures as we dun hv the clothes... it really get my nerves wei... i really 1 2 play ler....can see cannot play... it is so torturing...

then we went shopping at the duty free shops... all the choclates are so tempting and its so much cheaper than here...oh how i wish i bring it all back home.... and all the liqours there...although i fun drink... still get fantasize by all the liquors displayed there...
then at the evening went to the famous pantai cenang where it is said one of the most beautiful beach there...but its was late night edi... so can't really play...instead we went shopping and looking 4 souviniers and coicidencely met the sales girl from the Bukit Machinchang and she actually recognise us n had a chat with her... then we also tried to start a camp fire at the beach for half and hour... it lit a little and dimmed , lit , dimmed ... at the end failed completely...haihz...
finally it turned out to be writing n drawing using light by adjusting the shutter speed of the camera after we saw the fire playing performance there on the beach and it is real nice...below are few of the creations...

the next day we went to the main event for this wholer trip... the LIMA exhibition... it was loud as the jets passed by...n u can really feel the sonicboom n feel the difference of sound travelling slower than plane....helicopter doing "somersaults" or 360 loops... and my favorite... the Red Arrows Aircrobats.... they put up a very nice show for us...the tight loops... 2plane going towards each other at high speed...impressive co-ordination...so much more... then the exhibition have so many display items... from guns to grenades... flight simulatour to unmanned flight machine... Malaysia Army vehicles....so many more....especially the jets there.. wow... can never imaggined i can get close to one n even board 1.... one picture says thousand words...let the picture speaks... juz a few here...the rest are with friends.. will get it later....

but spend around half day there edi... at the end insisted to go to the beach again as i tak puas not playing at the beach...as we reached there the sun also set edi.. this is the problem u stay at motel not near the beach but near the town....urgh...
but manage to be make myself like an idiot holding a torch like at dark to look for seashell...
found a lot nice shells...however the shells have hermit inside it...so annoyed... hv 2 let them go... but at least found 1 without the hermit inside... but i forgot to bring it back... it is the really nice 1... got spike that kind of shell....urgh....but 4 doing deeds letting those hermit go ... i discovered the tears of the sea...
u should try it when u r there next time:
i) get a dark spot at night.... preferbally no light one...
ii) then u can try juz spread the send on the sea... u can see there is some glowing light there 1
its very quick one but it is very clear... its some glow in the dark light... even u step i on the stand oso can see some 1...
u can try tapping the sand u can see the light glowing reacting to the hits u done on the sand... we made a conclusion that the glowing things are small jellyfish... i think...its really nice n u should try it when u hv the chance... mayb should try it in the time of the tide is subsiding b4 the tide rise that time period....
Then at that night, freaking funny stories come out as we shared the stories of our odd experiences and stories before we slept... then there was lot of laughs...NJ who slept beside me said i was like teaching when i was sleeping as i was like pointing this n that while i was sleeping..lol...
Then the trip back was the scary part but b4 that.. there was some funny stories,we met a white fella that had quite a chat with us... he introduce us to a place at Amsterdam which is called the Big Banana where u pay 200 euro or ringgit i dunno.. then u can drink anything u want for two hours, plus all the waitress there is bare naked!!! then he if u participate in a game n won in it, u can spend another 2 hours there for free...( so guys, u noe where to go when u r there ler...evil grin...) then, we actually was worried whether we are able to smuggle the extra liquour that we bought as each ppl are entitled 4 1 liter only... but at the end they dun even check,went trough juz that worried for nothing... as we reach kuala perlis port... we went to the bus station n got the news of the bus ticket to KL was sold out... and the only tickets acailable was the night bus 10PM!!! shit!! then we try to get the train ticket..also sold out...walau...panic edi...
dunno what to do... then i suddenly thought of my relative at Alor Setar n really we went there to take a night there and bought our bus ticket there... we took the train to Alor Setar and because of this detour... we get to see the ancient traffic light machine... there was this machine that uses cable to lower the gates that hold car back from crossing the railing when the train passes. The machine date of manufacture was clearly stated there and it was 1924... walau!! and still servicing till today... Also thanks to the detour of train ride... we get to see the nice vast paddy field on the country... it was really beautiful...

then when we reached Alor Setar we were greeted warmly and was stuffed with food till we say can take in anymore but it was real nice... the food there.. really delicious...then we went karaoke-ing , after we bought the tickets. It was really funny as all 4 of us dun really noe how to sing and its not the kind of in a small room one but an open stage 1 where the mic is taken to your table n u sing in that hall... jonathan face expression was really priceless when he saw the karaoke place as he is the 1 who suggested to karaoke...haha...yi xiong on the other hand was a bit drunk from drinking at the karaoke... haha...
on the next day... we taken our long distance bus back and saw the legendary KLG the pirated KFC that i heard so much...snapped a pic of it ler.. but the pic is not with me... post it up later...then when we reached KL we had to take LRT back to sentral then switch to KTM.... we like taken almost all the mode of transport for this trip, taxi,car,boat,train... almost everything but the plane...i had it.. the simulation one ler....swt =.="
then finally home sweet home... the blog post is freaking long ler... better stop here edi...hahaha
