qing ming-清明 aka tomb sweeping

Finally I learnt that tomb sweeping was not easy... and i thought it will b juz be a breeze as i never really go tomb sweeping all the way...

I was wondering why the heck i have to wake up at 5am in the morning for tomb sweeping...
how much time it will take? why so early?
It was not a pleasant start in the morning as throughout the drive to Klang... i only get mumbles and nags from dad saying how poor i am maintaining the car n how bad i am taking care of it...
I was quite blood boiled back then as i am like lack of sleep... and i was like feeling 2 shout out loud in front of dad saying, STOP with the bragging...., but luckily i didn't or else i wouldn't be blogging here now...hahaha

When we actually go to the destination then i realise why we have to wake up at 5am...
it is 3 locations where we are going as we have to pray the grandfather of my father, and his god father, and my grandfather. Two were at the klang memorial park and one at kajang....
way way far...
then the one at klang memorial park was the unexpected ones as i never went there before, not to talk about cleaning for them. The memorial park is actually look more like an abondened graveyarf as we pass by whenever we go to my grandma's place. and today i was quite shocked that i actually have relatives which "rest" at there. Both tomb look quite maintained as my father n his brother to clean them once a year and as comparison, some of the 'neighbour' around are really in bad shape.... looks deserted and some even vandalized. Then all the tools they put in the car where the spade , the parang came into use as there is a lot of weed there. I was wondering why they are brining so many things for what? After cleaning and 2 tombs at klang now come to the tough part, the kajang one.

My grandfather 'stays' at the Nirvana memorial park which are well maintained... so tools was left back at home when we be3gin to go there. As usual, there are a lot of tombs there and it look like an increase of the number of it. I was thinking , sooner or later, the land here are surely not enough to hold that many 'residents' edi, and its going 2 reach its max capacity. Then, something changed my thought when we moved into the tomb area. There were a sign there stating how benefiting it is to buy a land here as the old price at 1997 was RM5500++ and at 2007 the price of the land are 21,000++.... which trying to say that it is a very good investment to gbook one for urself before the price appreciate again. Also, there are quite a number of tomb which are built but not used yet as they are still alive. We can differentiate it with the colour of the words on the toms as Gold would indicate that this tomb has a dead man/ woman as 'resident' while the tomb with red wording for the names states that the person is still alive and building the tomb for themselves actually increases their luck, life and fortune. People would do anything for these, including 'digging their own graves' literally....hahaha...

Coming back to cleaning the tomb, the weathere was shiny and clear... and it was 12pm... so its burning hot.... real hot...and sweats dripping here and there.... However, luckily there were the umbrella service for free...(expected as the maintainance fee there not cheap) but our family was over exploiting i personally think as they set up 2 big umbrella there and yet we say its not enough and ask for another three... 2 were sufficiently enough for me... but they said more shades better can cover more of us... so juz follow the orders they gave cleanig the surroundings and plucking some of the weeds on the tomb, placing the 'moneys' n fruits.....etc. Then, one of the uncle was coming back with a bag of thing in his hand, and it turn out to be a big bag of carlsberg.... just great.... they actually enjoyed themselves woth the chilled drinks they bought while the mean time praying my grandfather. Its sort of like a mini gathering party there juz with absence of 'someone'. Also they actually bought a toyota hilux model car for grandfather. The deisgn details n picture are the same exactly, but the car itself have some changes at the names printed on the car itself. It is named HELLYOTA instead of TOYOTA; and the model for tis car was HILUX was changed to HELLUX... what a creative idea... to show that the vehicle are use in the world....lol...

Then, the journey back home was quite tiring and exhausted. Came back slept directly b4 showering....hahahaha...It was quite a memorable n nice experience though...Do wish i hv ppl visiting once a year n not deserted like the ppl at the klang memorial hill... as i am a fella who quite scare of lonliness... :p
